This book takes place in Atlanta. Overall the writing isn't that fabulous, though there are definite funny parts. In particular, the bit about the surrealist funeral of the "Comparative Literature Professor down at Emory University" made me laugh. The end was pretty trite. I bought the book to try to like Atlanta more, and it helped some, though within the first couple chapters the main character contemplates moving to Tucson... so it didn't help me not miss Tucson.
